Bull moose at the famous “Mile 9” on the Denali Park Road, Alaska

Every fall, big bull moose gather in the colorful shrub-lands around Mile 9 on the Denali Park Road. This leads to an unavoidable “traffic congestion”, because both visitors like us and professional wildlife photographers stop here to get their pictures of these beautiful beasts. I got some nice shots, even though my 500mm tele was heavily outclassed by the gear those professionals set up.
